Friday, May 9th: Flowers from students provided by Chanticleer Gardens (all students can pick up 1 flower at the main entrance).will be gifts for all staff and thank you notes from students. (Notes can be made at home and brought in. Here’s an easy template you can use!)

Color Run
Color Run
Join us for this two-mile run/walk for students, families and community members. Proceeds will benefit Dunbarton Rec programming. $20 per person. Each runner gets a race kit with a t-shirt, color packet, sunglasses, bracelet, color blaze sticker and temporary tattoos.

This event is free but registration is needed to accomodate space. Please sign up for tickets here. *Please note, proper attire and appropriate behavior is expected at this formal dance. Running, roughhousing, and other disruptive activity will not be tolerated.

Kindergarten Launch

Incoming kindergarten students will participate in evaluations and work with fellow classmates and teachers Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8-11am. On Thursday at 11, all incoming Kindergarten families are invited to join for an info session with DES teachers and administrators, free lunch and cool treats, plus a chance to meet other families.

Scholastic Book Fair
It’s Book Fair Time!
The Book Fair begins on Monday, March 31. Classroom visits will be by classroom. The first day of the Book Fair is the Easter Bunny Breakfast on Saturday, April 5 from 9-11.

We are pleased once again to host Dunbarton's Meet the Candidates Night. Join us on Tuesday, February 18 at 6:00 in the Dunbarton Elementary School Library.
Candidates for town and school positions will be given an opportunity to speak about the position for which they are seeking election and why they would like your vote on March 11. Voters will be able to ask questions of the candidates. We hope to see many community members there.

Your child will still have their picture taken even if you don't order pictures. After the photo session, you will receive a link to preview their pictures and order from there.
Picture retakes will be on November 1. You must return the original packet you ordered if you want the picture to be retaken.
Composite photos of your child's class will be mailed after the picture retake day to ensure that students who were absent on the original picture day are still in the class photo.
